Artists Drawing

About The Drawing
A wonderful artist Ian Sklarsky who does Blind Contours drew this of me at the Andersonville Midsommarfest. The unique thing about this drawing is the artist used one single continuous line while never looking down at the paper. He only looked at the subject he was creating the portrait for, except when he colored in the drawing.
The Story of a Costume
Sketch
The drawing I created for the costume design. I love swirls and anyone would know that from my hand writting. I asked a costume designer if she could create this for me, and she said "No!" She would only do her design. So years went by but I always had it in the back of my mind to get it made.
Production
One day going through my book of inspiration. I found my costume drawing and thought no better time than now to get it made. I found a fabulous costume designer who would create my design and take on the challenge of making the skirt.
Completion
A very sparkly material was chosen to
enhance the costume for a glamorous
stage presence.
